Coal.

Coal has been one of the cornerstones which has lead Paicu&Sons Consulting develop and consolidate its position in the market. We have been offering consulting services related to coal trading to both local and South Eastern Europe clients. We have consolidated our market position as a reliable business partner by sourcing various types of coal for the power and heat production of our clients, at competitive international prices.

Although Romania’s dependency on coal for energy production is smaller compared to other states from the region, giving up this resource is not an easy task. However, in the context of the measures to combat climate change, the tendency is to diminish the use of this commodity. Yet, coal is an important part of our commodity portfolio and together with our clients and partners we are focused on operating it in a safe, efficient, responsible and sustainable manner.

The storage facility in Comvex Terminal – Constanta has strengthen our role in the Romanian and SE coal market – over 3,700,000 tonnes of coal have been discharged in the terminal and loaded to our clients over the past 12 years.

Putting our clients at the core of our business by understanding their needs and also by offering excellent customer service all along the value chain, made us build long term business partnerships and also helped us to extend our client portfolio.
